Has anyone used those plug-in-the-wall Pest Boxes? are they effective? how does sonic rays get rid of pests?thanks for your help.

We are moving there from Las Vegas and would like a heads-up on what the common pests are. In Las Vegas they are roaches, scorpions, ants, vinegaroons, coyotes and pigeons. Snakes are less common in the city, but we do get them occasionally as well. What about fleas, ticks, etc.? We rarely have those in Vegas.

im thinking of putting a trash bin in my room but im afraid that pests would be attracted if i threw food stuff in there
and not throwing food stuff is not an option cause i eat chips and throw the wrapper

I’m not against the idea of using chemicals/poisons; however, as I mentioned, these pests are in my attic. Any ideas on something I can use that will not pose a threat to myself?
My attic is not easily accessible, and I would prefer to not have to negotiate my way up there to set a trap. Any ideas on a quick fix?

I would appreciate if some one can list the various pests, insects, fungal attacks, bacterial attacks, diseases that vegetable plants face during various stages of its growth. I shall also appreciate if you can suggest remedies/solutions to control or eliminate these problems. I am acceptable to both organic as well as inorganic solutions. Thanks

What are some elements in coffee that discourage pests from “invading” my plants.My plant is Jerusalem berry and Monggo beans.

I heard that some plants protect others from pests if you plant them together. Where can I find more on this subject?

I found a small catapillar eating one of them. What else could be eating them? They are being eaten off at ground level, like cutting down a tree. How can I keep pests away?

I am a city girl that recently relocated to the country. This adventure has been a learning experience. I am getting use to living next to cows and am getting use to shooing raccoons off the property.
Something great about living in the country is getting to start my first garden. I am curious how to keep the critters and pests out of my lettuce, strawberries, tomatoes, pees, cucumbers and peppers.
What hints do you have about keeping these animals away?
I am mainly worried about insects, moles, deer, raccoons and rabbits.

The first mindfulness training/precept is that one shall not commit murder. How does one then deal with household pests like roaches and spiders. I am caught in a dilemma about this. Trying to learn how to reconcile these teachings with real life.
